SIPEHS is a short-term summer program that introduces students to cutting-edge research topics and innovative tools in environmental health sciences (EHS). The program provides a comprehensive introduction to the Yale School of Public Health and fosters hands-on learning in emerging areas of scientific discovery.

  • AI and Data Science for Environmental Health – Leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to drive scientific discovery and decision-making.
  • Technological Innovation in Environmental Health – Exploring AI-driven environmental monitoring and real-time health risk assessments.
  • Advancements in Toxicology and Exposure Science – Understanding how environmental factors influence health and developing strategies for prevention.
  • Early-Life Health Influences and Disease Prevention – Investigating the role of early-life exposures in shaping long-term health outcomes.
  • Green Chemistry and Sustainable Technologies – Developing innovative solutions to promote health and sustainability.
  • Applications in Major Human Diseases – Exploring how environmental health research contributes to understanding and mitigating conditions such as cancer and metabolic diseases.
