Global Health
Yale School of Public Health faculty are on the front lines of the global health response to outbreaks such as COVID-19, Zika and Ebola. Additionally, the school focuses on health systems, food insecurity, breastfeeding promotion and both infectious and chronic diseases.
YSPH also pursues the intersection of public health and justice through the Yale Institute for Global Health, Global Health and Justice Practicum, Center for Climate Change and Health and the Center for Interdisciplinary Research on AIDS. Global health research and practice cuts across all departments and disciplines, a philosophy also adopted by the school’s Global Health Concentration for Master of Public Health students. Our research is further enhanced by partnerships and collaborations from across the university, including the Yale schools of Law, Management, Medicine, Environment, Nursing and the Graduate School.
