Causal Inference, Observational Studies and Implementation Science Methodology

YSPH Biostatistics faculty are world leaders in development and application of new statistical methodologies for causal inference. Our faculty have developed statistical methods to solve important methodological problems in causal inference, including tools to address confounding bias, censoring and selection bias, measurement error, non-compliance, mediating variables, and network interference. From randomized trials to pragmatic/observational studies to implementation/dissemination science, the Biostatistics department catalyzes faster translation of biostatistical methods research into public health practice worldwide.
