InnovateHealth Yale

InnovateHealth Yale, housed at the Yale School of Public Health, supports the creation of innovative solutions to challenges in public health and education for underserved communities in the United States and low-resource countries.

We support programming, mentoring, and funding to accelerate impact and make difference in the world.

To date, InnovateHealth Yale has:

  • Coached over 200 students
  • Funded 40 start-ups
  • Awarded over $300K in startup funding
  • Seen our supported startups receive over $10M dollars in follow-on funding.

The Sustainable Health Initiative

The Sustainable Health Initiative, housed at the Yale Institute for Global Health, strives to solve complex global health challenges through business-minded approaches, creative problem-solving methods, and robust international collaboration.

SHI is a home for global health entrepreneurship at Yale. In 2019, SHI launched a business accelerator program with five Indian and Yale-affiliated startups with high impact potential. Startups supported by SHI have focuses on environmental sustainability, access to quality healthcare, maternal and child health outcomes, infectious disease, and health care technology.

In addition to the InnovateHealth Yale and the Sustainable Health Initiative, Yale has a wide variety of entrepreneurial centers and organizations.
