Research Summary
Dr. Wininger's primary area of focus is in clinical trial design and operation. He is the lead statistician on Safety and Efficacy of ICD implantation in the Elderly ("The I-70 Study", NCT02121158) and Growth Hormone Replacement Therapy in Veterans with mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) and adult growth hormone deficiency (AGHD) ("The GRIT Study", NCT04867317). Dr. Wininger specializes in analysis of continuous data streams from biomedical devices, including electromyograph (EMG), interfacial pressure measurement, intracranial pressure monitoring, and kinematic measurements. Dr. Wininger's area of interest include performance measurement, applied algorithmics, and robotics.
