Research Summary
My primary research objective is to develop culturally responsive and evidence-based health interventions for gay Latino and/or Black sexual assault survivors in the United States. My research projects focus on violence against gay Black and/or Latino men, sexual and gender minorities, and the effects of COVID-19 on persons living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). Acknowledging those who are most marginalized and not represented in extant research, I focus on the experiences of Latino and Black men who have sex with men and PLWHA.
