Biography

Julia Dennett’s research is focused on health economics and policy, with an interest in the determinants of health and health behaviors. Her goal is to understand how economic and environmental factors affect health and human capital outcomes and their long-term trajectories. Julia’s current research agenda examines topics at the intersection of health care access, the opioid epidemic, and infectious disease and aims to inform the policy response to the opioid crisis. She received a Ph.D. in Health Policy (Economics track) from Harvard University and a B.S. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
