Biography
Dr. Eman Salih is a pharmacist and public health professional recognized for her extensive policy, research, and international collaboration expertise. With over a decade of experience, she has made significant contributions across academia, government, and non-profit sectors, primarily focusing on strengthening health systems and improving global health outcomes.
Dr. Salih's academic prowess is highlighted by her Fulbright Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship and a Master of Science in Public and Tropical Health, among other accolades.In her current role as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Yale School of Public Health, Dr. Salih is actively involved in research on chronic diseases, health system strengthening, and providing mentorship. Her previous roles include Training Coordinator at the Task Force for Global Health, Guest Researcher at the CDC, and Project Coordinator for the Sudan COVID-19 Emergency Response Project, where she managed a substantial World Bank-funded project. Additionally, as the Director of Bilateral and Multilateral Relations at Sudan's Federal Ministry of Health, she was pivotal in fostering international partnerships.
