As Head of Organizational Effectiveness for Coinbase, the most trusted hub to access crypto-powered financial services, Sam helps teams work together more seamlessly to increase economic freedom in the world.
Prior to Coinbase, Sam was a Partner at McChrystal Group, a boutique consulting firm specializing in organizational effectiveness. There, he worked with executive teams across the healthcare ecosystem, including advising a Fortune 25 payer on establishing a new strategic planning process, helping a leading healthcare provider design a communications cadence reinforcing execution of their strategic plan, and coaching senior leaders in a world-class pharmaceutical company on effectively delegating to and empowering their teams.
Before joining McChrystal Group, Sam helped found SineWave Ventures, a VC investing in enterprise tech startups with potential applications in and benefits for the public sector. His diverse professional experience includes roles in technology investment banking with Morgan Stanley, government with Israel’s Ministry of Justice, and strategy consulting with Oliver Wyman, and has touched industries ranging from healthcare and technology to retail and transportation. Sam holds an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management and B.A. in Government from Harvard University.
