Plant Based for Public Health (PB4PH), Students for Sustainable Waste Reduction at YSPH (SWAY), and the YSPH Sustainability Committee are hosting a “Repurpose, Revive, Regift” donation drive for the entirety of Yale's Celebrate Sustainability Week, which takes place October 3-7.

The groups are seeking donations including:

  • Unopened, non-perishable foods and individually wrapped snacks that do not require a microwave
  • Individually packaged water, juice, or other drinks
  • Clean coats, jackets, pants, footwear, and any other clothing to prepare for colder weather
  • Sweaters, hats, scarves, and gloves
  • Travel-sized personal and feminine hygiene products.

Donations will be collected October 3-7 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the student lounge, at 47 College St. Donors will also receive raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes such as a Hydro Flask®, a Yale T-shirt, and BYO gift bags that include a tote bag, a beverage tumbler, a reusable lunchbox, and plantable seeds. All items will be donated to the Sex Workers and Allies Network (SWAN) and the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen (DESK).
