Dedication of the Tree of Celentano Life Artwork by Oksana Tanasiv

This illustration by Connecticut artist Oksana Tanasiv features the evolutionary relationships among a set of representative organisms that have been observed in the neighborhood of the Celentano school by Celentano faculty and students. These organisms diverged from each other over a time course of hundreds of millions of years. Fostering awareness of the evolution of local biodiversity, this installation was made possible through the generous support of the National Science Foundation.
