YSPH EMD Seminar Series: "Treatment of Children and Pregnant Women for Schistosomiasis: Using Evidence to Drive Policy Change"

This talk will address mechanisms of morbidity in the context of pediatric and maternal schistosomiasis.

We will address the results of a randomized controlled trial from The Philippines assessing the safety and efficacy of Praziquantel for the treatment of schistosomiasis during human pregnancy.

We will end with barriers to changing policy and increasing uptake.
