Title- Real World Evidence Studies in China
Abstract
The quantitative part of Real World Evidence (RWE) studies requires knowledge and skillsets in statistics, epidemiology, AI & ML, health system data management, regulatory and decision sciences. In this lecture, I will introduce the recent RWE landscape in China, i.e., the regulatory guidance, the unique opportunities in the newly created “RWE wonderlands”, the current best-practice, the major challenges, with a number of examples from on-going studies. Then I will discuss some significant difference in the RWE practice between USA and China, two countries with the largest health care systems in the world.
