TITLE: “Using routinely-collected data to understand tuberculosis in Ukraine, South Africa, and Peru”
ABSTRACT: I will present results from projects where I have used routinely-collected data on people with tuberculosis (TB) to understand: (1) the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on TB diagnoses in Ukraine, and (2) the risk of TB recurrence and rifampin-resistant TB in Ukraine and South Africa. I will also discuss a new project based in Peru which aims to use spatial data and TB surveillance data to identify areas where geographic access to TB treatment services is particularly poor.
