TITLE: “Biostatistician Roles in the Pharmaceutical Industry"
ABSTRACT: Biostatisticians make key contributions to pharmaceutical industry clinical studies. We will cover the life of a clinical trial and its key processes, the teams the statisticians work with, and key deliverables along the way. Company structure and organization will also be discussed, including different areas within the organization a biostatistician can reside. Time permitting, some thoughts on the state of research in the industry may also be discussed.
