Leaders in Public Health
The Yale School of Public Health is excited to present “Leaders in Public Health,” a distinguished speaker series showcasing accomplished individuals, pioneers, and thought leaders in the field of public health. This series encompasses a range of speaker events throughout the academic year, where we invite guests to join us in exploring vital topics about scientific rigor, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
We are proud to foster meaningful conversations that transcend our classrooms and laboratories, connecting with a global audience. Our goal is to effect positive change, not just within our local community of New Haven, Connecticut, but also on a national and international scale.
Bhramar Mukherjee, a prominent statistician from the University of Michigan, presented the inaugural lecture for a new Dean’s speaker series at the Yale School of Public Health called “Leaders in Public Health.”
In this presentation, she discusses the promises and perils of big real-world health care data.
