Clinical Trials
Faculty and research staff in the Department of Biostatistics collaborate with clinical researchers across the medical school, Yale New Haven Hospital and the Veterans Administration health system. Biostatisticians comprehensively integrate study design, data management and statistical analysis into Yale’s clinical research to maximize the information gained and disseminated from pivotal medical research. Our department can provide full-service support through faculty investigators, statistical researchers and analysts and data coordinating services provided by the Yale Center for Analytical Sciences and the Collaborative Center for Statistics in Science. Our faculty have expertise in a wide variety of disease areas and topics, including aging, cancer, tobacco use and smoking, mental health and infectious disease.
