Genetics, Genomics, Molecular Epi

We focus on the genetic, genomic and epigenetic contributions to common, chronic diseases by taking a population-based approach using both laboratory and computational methods to understanding these diseases. Faculty study a diverse set of diseases from cancer to obesity by incorporating both molecular and environmental influences into their studies. Our molecular data spans various omics categories from whole genome genotype and sequence data to transcriptome data to understand the molecular influence and underlying biology of disease.
