Message from the Program Director

Thank you for your interest in our Executive MPH Program. At the Yale School of Public Health, we believe that working professionals should have access to the core training, individualized attention, faculty excellence, and interdisciplinary approach that form the foundation of our onsite MPH program, even when relocating to pursue an advanced degree is not an option. To that end, our Executive MPH combines online learning and onsite leadership intensives with a curriculum focused on the knowledge and skills working professionals need to succeed in their chosen careers. This part-time program is designed intentionally to support students’ success while they balance the challenges of pursuing a graduate degree while working, juggling family obligations, or both.

Public health as a field is stronger when it incorporates a wider breadth of lived experiences and perspectives alongside expertise. If public health is your passion—whether you plan to pursue a career move into public health or are an established practitioner seeking to strengthen key research and public health leadership skills— join us. Pursue an Executive MPH at the Yale School of Public Health, and you will receive a Yale-caliber education to fuel your professional aspirations and amplify your impact on the public health issues that matter most to you.

I look forward to getting to know each of you and celebrating your accomplishments throughout the program.

Warmly,

Dr. Abigail S. Friedman, PhD
Associate Professor of Health Policy and Faculty Director of Online and Non-degree Programs, Yale School of Public Health
