2026 Robert S. Sherwin YCCI All Scholar Day
First launched by Dr. Robert “Bob” S. Sherwin, the inaugural director of the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation, the Robert S. Sherwin YCCI All Scholar Day is a celebration of the center’s educational programs and the accomplishments of the trainees and scholars at all levels. Now in its 21st year, the YCCI has supported more than 239 junior faculty members. The scholars, 99 percent of whom remain engaged in research, continue to successfully compete for independent grants (including ~540 NIH grants) worth over $1.4 billion.
The successes of the program are a reflection of Dr. Sherwin’s visionary leadership, tremendous dedication, and passion for training the next generation of clinical and translational researchers. Please join us for this year’s combined celebration of the YCCI trainees and Bob’s incredible legacy. Learn more about Dr. Sherwin’s clinical, education, and research legacy
The event will be held on Friday, May 8 starting at 8:30 a.m. in the Conference Center at 101 College Street. The keynote speaker is Barry Coller, MD, of Rockefeller University.
