Biography

Samantha Dean earned her PhD in Biostatistics from YSPH in 2024. Her graduate work was with Professor Forrest Crawford and Professor Laura Forastiere, and her dissertation is titled "Causal Inference for Effects of Interventions in Groups." She now works at the US Centers for Disease Control as a Prevention Effectiveness Fellow (Analytics and Modeling Track). For more information see her website.
