Many Factors Contribute To a Tickborne Threat
There has been an explosion of tickborne diseases in the United States. Just about all of them, most notably the big three—Lyme disease, babesiosis and anaplasmosis—have seen a combined increase of about 25% between 2011 and 2019. Lyme disease, the most common tickborne disease in the United States, has increased about 44%, according to the CDC.
