YSPH Climate Change and Health Special Seminar: “The Changing Landscape of Scholarly Publishing: The View from an Editor’s Desk” with Dr. Joel D. Kaufman
Abstract: The nature of publishing scholarly work is changing rapidly. There are many factors challenging authors and editors, including the growth of predatory journal practices, fast-moving advances in artificial intelligence, increasing rate of paper retractions, evolving open access requirements and processes, and the growth of paper mills. After a quick tour of the issues, we’ll have an open discussion of best practices in authorship and peer reviewer.
