YSPH Center on Climate Change and Health Special Seminar: "Particles of Truth: A Story of Discovery, Controversy, and the Fight for Healthy Air" with Dr. Douglas W. Dockery

Dr. Douglas W. Dockery, John L. Loeb and Frances Lehman Research Professor, Emeritus of Environmental Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, will be visiting Yale on Friday, October 2. Over his five-decade career, he has made major contributions to our understanding of how air pollution, particularly fine particulate matter, affects human health. His book, Particles of Truth: A Story of Discovery, Controversy, and the Fight for Healthy Air, explores the scientific discoveries and debates surrounding air pollution and its effects on human health.
