Global Health

A teacher is responsible for taking care of children ages 4 to 6 years old, and providing them monthly health checkups and nutritious meals that are subsidized by the government of Maharashtra.
In their global health research the CDE faculty prioritize improving health outcomes, achieving health equity and building local capacity. Contributing to the broader mission of Global Health at Yale and the Global Health Concentration the involved faculty take a multidisciplinary approach to research, utilizing rigorous quantitative and qualitative methods. Ongoing research in global health includes studies of maternal child health and obesity risk in Samoa and bone health in China.
