The YSPH Public Health Data Science and Data Equity (DSDE) team is committed to supporting Yale researchers in their efforts to advance public health through data-driven research.

We offer a range of services, including:

• Data harmonization

• Code writing assistance

• Data visualization

• R package development

• Statistical analysis

• Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML)

• Data linkage and data integration

• Workshops and tutorials

• Data equity, ethics and fairness assessment

To request assistance, please complete the following form. A DSDE representative will review your request and assign an appropriate team member to work with you.

For long term assistance and collaboration, investigators are encouraged to include a DSDE data scientist in their grant applications or provide salary support through other means. DSDE personnel contributing substantially to scientific projects are expected to be listed as co-authors on any publications resulting from their work.

Please submit your request well in advance of any deadlines.

We recommend the following timelines:

• 1 month for meeting abstracts

• 2-3 months for manuscripts

• 3-6 months for R01 submissions

• 6-9 months for program projects (Eg. SPOREs, P01s)

By following these guidelines, you can ensure that we are able to provide the most effective support for your research.
