Yu-Tien Hsu

Yu-Tien Hsu is a physician and social epidemiologist specializing in the mental and cognitive well-being of aging populations. Her research focuses on how social factors—particularly connectedness, participation, and social life—influence and potentially protect individuals during the aging process.

Yu-Tien holds a Ph.D. in Population Health Sciences, with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Sciences, from Harvard University. She also earned her M.D. from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan.
