Dr. Moustafa Abdalla, Senior Health Economist at the World Bank, brings over 15 years of experience in health policy, financing, and systems analysis across the MENA, Africa, and South Asia regions. With expertise from roles at the Islamic Development Bank, WHO, MSF, and Egypt’s Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdalla will lead a discussion on pandemic preparedness in countries such as Sudan, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Zambia, exploring the role of government, investment needs, and sustainable financing in building resilient health systems.
