EMD Seminar Series: Kizzmekia S. Corbett-Helaire - "Pandemic Preparedness and Career Preparedness – Lessons from a Vaccine Inventor "
In this talk, Dr. Corbett-Helaire will provide an overview her career trajectory from a 16-year-old intern to a COVID-19 vaccine inventor and professor, detailing the successes and failures along the way. She will discuss the scientific triumphs of developing COVID-19 vaccines, current gaps in knowledge, and reveal results of new data from her lab as it explores universal coronavirus vaccine development using novel platforms.
