Join OPHP & YSM librarians! Dana will cover the 'dos' and 'don'ts' of slideshow presentations. Poor organization, unreadable text, blurry or blown-out pictures, and indecipherable graphs can sabotage lectures by even the most engaging speakers. Bad slides distract your audience, confuse them, and undermine your credibility. In this portion of the workshop, we'll discuss the common pitfalls of bad slides and learn how to avoid them. In the second portion, Kaitlin will share data visualization tips and best practices, and review examples of what to do (and what not to do). You'll leave with data visualization resources to explore after the talk. Finally, Chandra will wrap up the session on wrapping up your APE Final Evaluation; discussing learning competencies, deliverables, and providing effective feedback.
