EMD Seminar Series: Rick Bucala - "A Most Interesting Factor"

The unique biology of the innate cytokine macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) will be discussed. Universally expressed parasite-encoded orthologs of MIF suppress memory T cell responses and provide an opportunity for the creation of effective vaccines against chronic parasitic infections.
