Global Mental Health Promotion Program

The Global Mental Health Promotion (GMHP) program bridges the gap between knowledge and practice in the promotion of mental health, especially in low- and middle-income countries. The program utilizes implementation science to identify barriers and opportunities that limit or enhance the translation of evidence-based mental health interventions into practice, programs, and policies. Emphasis is placed on the processes of program implementation, acceptability, and fidelity, as well as the cultural adaptation of interventions, their integration into existing service frameworks, and scale-up and sustainability.
