Biography

Mike Honsberger is the Director of Academic Affairs where he is involved in all aspects of the YSPH academic programs ensuring that the school continues to provide the highest standard of training for the next generation of public health leaders. Before joining YSPH Mike was the STEM project manager for the Yale Young Global Scholars program where he was responsible for developing and implementing various aspects of a wide array of academic programs. After earning his PhD from McGill he conducted research as a postdoctoral fellow in the Yale Department of Psychiatry. His research focused on mechanisms of memory destabilization and applications of these mechanisms in models of addiction and schizophrenia. He has taught as Yale Summer Session instructor and adjunct professor of Psychology at Quinnipiac University, University of New Haven and Southern Connecticut State University.
