Tell us about a project you are proud of.
I am proud of creating a presentation on making impactful connections that I will present to other coordinators at the coordinators’ retreat. Being part of a community is very valuable emotionally, as we are social creatures. I hope I can help other coordinators learn effective ways of making connections so they can thrive in the community.
What do you enjoy about working at Yale?
I enjoy being part of a diverse community that embraces education, research, and innovation.
What is your favorite pastime?
I enjoy gardening. Gardening is a relaxing and fulfilling activity in which I connect with nature, nurture plants, and create beautiful spaces. It provides physical exercise and is a creative and meditative hobby. Hearing that I have a green thumb like my grandparents, who cared for the various vegetables and plants they had in their homes, makes me feel connected to my ancestors.
Tell us one piece of advice you will never forget.
Embrace change and remain adaptable. Life is full of unexpected twists and turns, and the ability to adapt to new circumstances, learn from experiences, and stay resilient in the face of challenges will help you navigate it successfully.
