Amy Caroline Justice, MD, PhD, recently appointed as the C.N.H. Long Professor of Medicine and of Public Health, has conducted research focusing on outcomes in chronic HIV infection for over 25 years.
Kimberly A. Yonkers, MD, Professor of Psychiatry, Epidemiology (Chronic Disease), and Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences and Director of the Center for Wellbeing of Women and Mothers at Yale School of Medicine, has been recruited to lead the Section of Psychological Medicine within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health of Yale New Haven Hospital.
Donna Spiegelman, newly named as the Susan Dwight Bliss Professor of Biostatistics, will focus her research at Yale on the development and dissemination of new methods for implementation and prevention sciences.
Vasilis Vasiliou, newly designated as the Susan Dwight Bliss Professor of Epidemiology, focuses his research on investigating the mechanisms of cellular responses to environmental stress and gene-environment interactions involved in a number of diseases, including alcohol-induced liver disease and various forms of cancer such as colon and pancreatic cancer, gout, obesity and diabetes.
