CIRA Talk: "Highlights from the 26th International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2026)"

OVERVIEW

AIDS 2026, the 26th International AIDS Conference, was held on July 26-31, 2026, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and virtually. The conference was attended by 7,500 individuals and centered on the theme "Rethink. Rebuild. Rise.” The meeting highlighted a stark paradox: powerful scientific innovations in long-acting prevention that clash with a severe global funding crisis.

Join us in a virtual CIRA Talk featuring AIDS 2026 abstracts presented by CIRA affiliates and selected sessions on innovative research covered at the conference. Each panelist will share a brief recap and reflections on their research presented at the conference, and exciting AIDS 2026 sessions they attended that are promising, innovative, and relevant to their respective HIV-related research and practice.
