CMIPS/ISC Seminar: Luke Davis "Reimagining TB Contact Tracing in High-Burden Settings: An Implementation Science Approach"
Registration required for both in-person and virtual attendance
Tuberculosis is the leading cause of death from an infectious disease worldwide, in part because of persistent gaps in early diagnosis and linkage to effective treatment and prevention. In this talk, we will describe challenges to the routine
delivery of TB contact investigation, a proven approach to finding, treating, and preventing TB, and present a series of implementation research studies that we conducted in high-burden settings to rigorously develop and evaluate innovative strategies for
expanding the reach and effectiveness of evidence-based TB care in households.
