Innovation Exchange: Building a Career in the Social Impact Space with Suraj Kripalani
Suraj Kripalani is the Co-founder and CEO at BonBillo, a social impact accelerator helping entrepreneurs launch and grow startups contributing towards the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals. He also serves as an advisor at the New England Impact Investing Initiative (NEIII) as well as a mentor at MassChallenge Boston and Startupbootcamp Afritech, top global accelerator programs, and has contributed as a judge for startup pitch events at MassChallenge, MIT and Harvard with Plug and Play Ventures, Boston University and IIT Kharagpur. His passion for social ventures led him to help launch the Nalanda Education Technology Program, a blended-learning program using an offline version of Khan Academy in low-income Indian schools, in 2013. The program has grown across 3 Indian cities, and shown a positive impact on learning outcomes and engagement levels.
Suraj began his career at BlackRock in 2004 and held roles in risk and portfolio management for fixed income portfolios over 8 years in New York and London.
