EMD Seminar Series: Jordan Peccia - “Integrating Microbial Genetics and Engineering to Improve Pathogen Exposure Assessment”

The Peccia Lab at Yale University integrates engineering approaches with microbial genetics to improve our understanding of how humans are exposed to hazardous microbes in the built environment. This presentation will highlight results from three research areas in which these tools have advanced our understanding of microbial exposure: (1) wastewater-based epidemiology, (2) inactivation of airborne pathogens, and (3) beneficial microbial exposures in homes.
