Rajesh R. Tampi, MD, Professor Adjunct of Psychiatry, is co-author of the newly published book “Absolute Geriatric Psychiatry Review.”
According to the publisher, the book “provides a comprehensive yet concise review of geriatric psychiatry in preparation for the board exam, or for reference during practice.”
The book reviews over 500 developmental, biological, diagnostic, and treatment questions by board certification. “Unlike any other text on the market, this book takes a broader approach to the subject, making it accessible for physicians as well as other clinicians, including nurses, therapists, and social workers,” the publisher wrote.
Among the co-authors is Juan Young, MD, Postdoctoral Fellow in the Clinical Epidemiology and Aging Related Research Program at Yale School of Medicine.
Tampi is a Professor of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Learner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. He is Chair of the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, Akron, Ohio, and Chief of the Section for Geriatric Psychiatry at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
He is Co-President of the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry (AAGP) for 2020-2021.
