EMD Seminar Series: Rick Bungiro, PhD "You Work with What? Why I Study Parasitic Worms”
Dr. Bungiro is a member of the Cappello research group at YSPH, which has been researching parasitic worm infections for over 30 years. Rick's particular interest has been developing and characterizing animal models of hookworm infection, with a particular emphasis on pathogenesis and immune responses. Rick will discuss what he has learned, what he wishes he could learn, and what makes hookworms better immunologists than he is.
