Henrique Oliva, MD, PhD
Henrique Oliva, MD, PhD, a postdoctoral associate in the Yale Department of Psychiatry, has been selected to receive the ASAM 2025 Diversity Travel Scholarship from the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).
The ASAM 56th Annual Conference will be held in Denver, Colorado, from April 24-27, 2025.
ASAM is dedicated to enhancing awareness and promoting career opportunities in addiction medicine, specifically targeting individuals from underrepresented groups in the medical community.
Oliva currently works under the supervision of Gustavo Angarita, MD, MHS, assistant professor of psychiatry, at the Yale Cocaine Research Clinic, in the Clinical Neuroscience Research Unit (CNRU) of the Connecticut Mental Health Center.
