This new role reunites Alexi with Kevin Ryan, ’85, with whom he co-founded Nomad Health in 2015. Together, they built a transformative company that has reshaped a crucial part of the healthcare workforce. This experience underscored the profound impact entrepreneurs can have in healthcare, and Alexi is now eager to collaborate once again with Kevin and AlleyCorp to support a new generation of entrepreneurs who are defining and building the future of healthcare at this pivotal moment.
Alexi is honored and excited to assume leadership of an exceptional healthcare platform. AlleyCorp has become the most active early-stage healthcare venture investor in the United States and developed a reputation for being a helpful partner to brilliant innovators. The firm has started or invested several highly impactful companies, including Thyme Care, Pearl Health, Transcend Therapeutics, Clarium, and Pi Health.
In announcing the news about joining AlleyCorp, Alexi expressed enthusiasm for investing in the next generation of transformational companies at this crucial inflection point in healthcare in the US and globally. And he noted he hopes to partner more deeply with the Yale community, which has a long lineage of great entrepreneurs.
In June 2024, Alexi took the helm as Chair of Agents for the Yale School of Medicine Alumni Fund.
