On March 24, 1882, Koch announced the discovery of the bacterium M. tuberculosis. On March 24, 2025, it's World Tuberculosis Day. Let's celebrate by exploring tuberculosis literature in three bibliographic databases: PubMed, OpenAlex, and Lens.

By the end of this 30-minute training, participants will be able to:

• Use PubMed field tags [majr] or [ti] to do specific searches for tuberculosis literature
• Use PubMed field tags [mh] or [tw] to do sensitive searches for tuberculosis literature
• Find tuberculosis literature by authors based in LMICs (via OpenAlex)
