COVID-NET

The Yale EIP RESP-NET team is conducting population-based surveillance for laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 associated hospitalizations in southern Connecticut. Yale EIP is one of 13 sites conducting COVID-NET surveillance across the country.

The Connecticut EIP's FluSurv-NET team conducts surveillance for severe influenza infections. Our staff work with the Connecticut Department of Public Health (CTDPH), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local hospitals to conduct surveillance among residents of southern Connecticut. Together with other FluSurv-NET sites, our data provide near real-time estimates of influenza severity in the US.

The Connecticut EIP's RSV-NET team conducts surveillance for severe Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) infections. Our staff work with the Connecticut Department of Public Health (CTDPH), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local hospitals to conduct surveillance among residents of southern Connecticut. Together with other RSV-NET sites, our data provide estimates of RSV severity and seasonality in the US each year.
