Yale School of Public Health and Center for Methods in Implementation and Prevention Science (CMIPS) faculty member Fan Li, PhD, has been invited to serve on the editorial board for the journal Implementation Science. Dr. Li is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the Yale School of Public Health and is the recipient of a recent Patient-Centered Outcome Research Institute grant for his work on developing methods and software to plan pragmatic cluster randomized trials.

Implementation Science is a prestigious journal that promotes the uptake of relevant research findings into clinical, organizational, and policy contexts of routine healthcare. As a member of the editorial board for this journal, Dr. Li will provide statistical expertise on journal content, facilitate the peer review process, and promote the journal to a broader research community.

Regarding his new role, Dr. Li shared, “I am very excited to join the editorial board and contribute to improving the quantitative methodology standards for journal article submissions. It is an honor to work with an interdisciplinary team consisting of both qualitative and quantitative experts.” CMIPS Director Donna Spiegelman, ScD, offered her congratulations to Dr. Li on his new editorial role for this flagship journal and said she “looks forward to having CMIPS support his efforts to increase the awareness and impact of implementation science research within and beyond the Yale School of Public Health.”
