Biography

Elizabeth Frank is an eleven-year breast cancer survivor. She is the Lead Advocate for a group of breast cancer patient advocates at the Dana Farber/Harvard Cancer Center, where she focuses on facilitating collaborations between advocates and researchers in clinical and translational research. Frank also serves as a patient advocate with several organizations that develop clinical trials including the Translational Breast Cancer Research Consortium (TBCRC) and the NCI Breast Cancer Steering Committee. She is a co-investigator on several PCORI funded research projects as well as a PCORI Ambassador. Her research interests include engaging patient stakeholders with researchers and interventions that seek to enhance the quality of patient/doctor communication and decision making in all phases of the healthcare system. She received a BA in Economics and an MA in Education Research and Program Evaluation.
