Law & Public Health JD/MPH
The Yale Law School and the Yale School of Public Health both encourage interdisciplinary approaches. The legal and policy arenas are key drivers of the public's health locally and globally and intersect public health through every discipline, including environmental health sciences, infectious disease response and preparedness, nutrition, insurance markets, global affairs and economics and more. Public health attorneys are vital actors in regulatory affairs, advocacy, health care administration, and bridging research and implementation.
Joint degree curriculum with the Law Schools are determined on a case by case basis, but candidates can expect that there would be shortened residency in each of the two schools.
