Biography

Mauro Diaz-Hernandez joined the Yale Center on Climate Change and Health after working for Higher Edge, a college access and retention non-profit, assisting first-generation students to and through the college application process and to graduation. Among his many roles and identities, he is a first-generation Mexican-American and college grad, volunteer EMT, Climate Reality Corps Leader, and an MPH candidate at the University of Connecticut, with interests in climate and health, environmental justice, and community-based efforts at implementing climate solutions.
