Zheng Jonathan Ma, PhD, MBA

Dr. Jonathan Ma is a biostatistician by training. He has over 25 years of combined experiences with the US FDA, pharmaceutical industry and data sciences research in healthcare. He received his B.S. in Mathematics from Beijing University (China) in 1988, Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Yale University in 1995 and EMBA from Columbia Business School in 2009.

Dr. Jonathan Ma is currently an adjunct faculty member of biostatistics at Yale School of Public Health, and an advisor and collaborator with SJTU-Yale Joint Center for Biostatistics and Data Sciences in China. He recently has been coordinating several joint research projects involving top researchers from Yale CORE Center, Yale School of Public Health and top Chinese medical research institutes. Some of his recent publications are in the area of personalized diagnosis and treatment for patients with hypertension and heart failure utilizing data visualization technologies based on cardiovascular hemodynamic big data measured by impedance cardiography.
